Steps to starting a Business in Minnesota
So, you want to start a business based in Minnesota. While there are a number of items that you need to consider including capital, facilities, equipment, marketing, etc., this article covers the steps to take to register your business with the State of Minnesota and obtain business Tax IDs.

Once you have this information, you should register with Minnesota e-Services (https://www.mndor.state.mn.us/tp/eservices/_/) for an online account.
Once these steps are completed, you have the accounts and identification numbers needed for your business. Additionally, if you will have payroll, there may be additional steps that are needed.
